There are many areas for service at Lambuth Memorial. Within our church we have:
The Society of Stephen
A group offering assistance to those in the community in crisis situations with food from our food pantry.
Tape Ministry
Volunteers copy and deliver tapes
of the Sunday worship service to the homebound each Monday.
Room In The Inn
Ministry with homeless men. We prepare a meal once per month, pick up homeless men from Area Relieve Ministries, have fellowship with them, and they spend the night in our church.
Work projects at the church
Volunteers painted most of the building and cleaned out closets and cabinets in preparation for the 125 anniversary.
Blood donation
Meals on Wheels are delivered by some of our members.
Community time for neighborhood children in the gym
Member volunteers help the staff with games and activities.
Provide meeting places for local groups such as:
Area Relief Ministries Board Meetin monthly
Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association monthly meetings
Wesley Foundation of The University of Memphis - Lambuth
Meets weekly for worship, fellowship and food
Lambuth social groups needing practice space
Through our giving to the United Methodist Church we support projects, education, missions and service world wide.
